Yoga and meditation have been a part of my life for over 20 years and have been the saving grace through many of life's challenging experiences. I use my knowledge and growth to inspire students to continue pushing forward, and believe in the strength and beauty of every moment and every breath of every day. Yoga inspires me to meet each moment with mindfulness and to cultivate happiness and joy with whomever I meet.
My studies in yoga and nutrition started over 30 years ago, when I became vegetarian and concerned with the humane treatment of animals. I dove into educating myself in many areas of wellness, including over 2000 hours of formal yoga teacher training and professional culinary school to adapt classical cooking to a healthier approach to eating. After graduate school and teaching health, family consumer science and physical education, I realized that my impact on changing the world was greater and opened innerglow yoga. The studios and school are my life's work. I teach public and private yoga classes, public and private cooking classes, one on one coaching to live your best life and continue to learn and grow from everyone I meet. I live life as a student first and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared. Let's grow together. |

As the founder of the Cape Cod Refresh, I partnered with Michelle to provide a plant-based lunch demo for me and my attendees at our "Foodie Fest Getaway" themed retreat. She proactively suggested adding in a yoga session which ended up being a wonderful outdoor precursor to our cooking session. Our afternoon was well-organized and we especially appreciated that Michelle included a packet with a quiz and recipes for us to take home. Michelle was easy going, thoughtful and encouraged our creativity in the kitchen. I highly recommend Michelle for private events and look forward to working with her in the future!
